Platinum Top 50 Names 263 Austin Realtors and Teams to the PT50 Class of 2027
200 individual agents and 63 teams earn Semifinalist status; Winners and Finalists will be revealed at the PT50 Austin Awards Ceremony on December 16
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
AUSTIN, Texas — November 1, 2026 — Platinum Top 50 (PT50) today announced the 263 Semifinalists who make up the PT50 Austin Class of 2027: 200 individual agents and 63 teams from across the Austin real estate market. Each was evaluated on production, community involvement, professional development and industry involvement, with production verified directly with the applicant's broker.
The Class of 2027 is the first in PT50's history recognized in two separate categories, Individuals and Teams. The change gives solo agents and team-based businesses a fair comparison against their true peers. At the Awards Ceremony, PT50 will name 50 Individual Winners and 50 Team Winners. Every Semifinalist will be revealed as either a Winner or a Finalist during the ceremony.
"Every name on this list earned its place," said Chelsea Timmons, President of Platinum Top 50. "These are agents who closed real business this year, and who also gave their time to this city, kept learning and invested in our industry. Being a top Realtor is about more than what you sell. It's about how you show up."
How Semifinalists were selected
PT50 looks beyond sales volume alone. Every application was scored across four weighted areas:
Category | Weight | What it measures |
|---|---|---|
Production | 60% | Sales volume and units sold, verified directly with each applicant's broker |
Community involvement | 25% | Volunteer time and charitable giving to civic and philanthropic causes |
Professional development | 7.5% | Recognized designations and certifications earned |
Industry involvement | 7.5% | Participation and leadership in recognized real estate associations |
Production, community and industry activity were counted for September 1, 2025 through August 31, 2026. Team applications were scored on the team's production along with the Team Leader's community, professional development and industry involvement. PT50 attendance served only as a tiebreaker.
Applying to PT50 is free, and recognition cannot be purchased. For the full methodology, read PT50's Transparent Scoring Process.
What comes next
Members of the Class of 2027 join a year-round network of leading agents across brokerage lines, along with trusted industry partners, education, experiences and community service opportunities. The class will gather first at the Class of 2027 Semifinalist Party, then at the PT50 Austin Awards Ceremony on December 16, 2026, where Winners and Finalists in both categories will be announced. Tickets are required for all guests, including Semifinalists. The ticket link will be shared publicly this week, as tickets are first reserved for Semifinalists and Partners to attend. We expect a sellout crowd!
