Meet the PT50 Austin Advisory Board
For nearly 20 years, Platinum Top 50 has celebrated the agents and partners who set the standard in Austin real estate. Behind the scenes, a group of those very professionals helps guide where we go next.
Why We Have an Advisory Board
The PT50 Advisory Board exists to provide support, guidance, and accountability to the PT50 leadership team. It is made up of top-producing agents, team leaders, and tenured industry members. Together they bring decades of experience, hundreds of millions in sales, and a real understanding of what Austin’s real estate community needs.
Our board members serve as a sounding board for the decisions that shape PT50. That includes our policies and application process, our events, and the programs we build for agents and partners. They also review nominations for our Special Category Awards, so the honors we present each year reflect the judgment of respected peers, not a single point of view.
Most importantly, they keep us honest and connected. Each member has been part of the PT50 community, and each one cares about keeping it a place where excellence is recognized and meaningful connections are made.
We’re proud to introduce them.
Meet the Board
Todd Burgener
Realtor | Douglas Elliman Real Estate
Todd is homegrown Austin, and his hands-on knowledge of the city has given him a skill set you can’t learn in a classroom. Known for his gregarious personality and his willingness to go the distance for his clients, Todd has earned a top-20 spot in the Austin Business Journal rankings five times in 15 years. In 2018, his wife, Kim, joined him as Operations Manager, and together they’ve built a reputation for excellence and results. Todd’s focus is simple: build lasting relationships, educate clients at every step, and communicate clearly along the way.
Fun fact: Todd was a local DJ for almost 20 years, playing Austin’s top nightclubs. He still plays soccer twice a week in an over-40 men’s league.
Ricky Cain
Co-Founder | Cain Realty Group, Keller Williams Luxury
This December, Ricky marks 20 years in Austin real estate. He began his career in 2006 and co-founded Cain Realty Group with his wife and partner, KodiKay, in 2009. He has been the top-selling agent in his home neighborhood of Travis Country since 2007, and his team now serves clients across Travis, Williamson, and Hays counties. Ricky holds the ALHS, CLHMS, CRS, and CNE designations. He has earned Platinum Top 50 honors since 2012 and RealTrends Top Teams in Texas recognition since 2014. He served three years as a MAPS Mastery Coach, has contributed to Gary Keller’s Mastermind Group since 2015, and co-authored Faith in Real Estate. In 2016, Ricky and KodiKay founded Cain Cares, a 501(c)(3) that supports clients and their families during severe hardship.
Fun fact: Before real estate, Ricky worked as a chemical engineer. Today he runs Town Lake, collects Monopoly sets from the early 1900s on, and thanks referring clients with a “Rickarita,” his signature cocktail.
Tim Landy
Partner & Realtor | Landy Frost Group at Compass
Tim has been licensed in Texas since 2013 and has been part of hundreds of home sales across Austin and the Hill Country. He co-founded Landy Frost Group, a $100M+ team he leads with Mike “Frosty” Frost and Kallie Moulton. RealTrends ranked them the #1 medium team in Austin in 2025. Tim is a Platinum Top 50 Centurion and a six-time Austin Business Journal award winner. He brings deep infill development experience to every renovation, inspection, and “what-if.” Off the clock, he’s all about family, golf, travel, and coaching his son’s youth baseball team.
Fun fact: Tim is a leap-year baby. He’s had only 10.5 real birthdays and will turn 11 in two years.
Cassandra Marie
Principal Realtor | Cassandra Marie Group, Compass
Cassandra is a relationship-driven leader dedicated to redefining the client journey through a true white-glove experience. She believes homeownership is one of the most powerful tools for building generational wealth. She is committed to educating and empowering buyers and sellers through relationships that extend far beyond the closing table. In early 2024, she founded Women Beyond Real Estate (WBRE), a community where women in the industry and beyond connect, collaborate, and grow together. She is a proud mom of two, Darian and Ariah. Faith and family are at the heart of her mission to leave people better than she found them.
Fun fact: Cassandra used to be a drummer.
Stephanie Perez
Director of Sales | Watters International Realty
The daughter of Mexican immigrants, Stephanie built her career on ambition, resilience, and a commitment to excellence. She became a sales leader at a young age and owned her own brokerage by 26. Today, as Director of Sales at Watters International Realty, she champions agent development, innovative sales strategy, and a higher standard for the industry. She has been recognized as PT50 Austin’s Trainer of the Year three times. Stephanie believes leadership is measured by the success you create in others. She is a devoted wife and adoptive mother, and a competitive endurance athlete who takes on HYROX, DEKA, and obstacle course racing. Her philosophy: Break barriers. Lead with purpose. Leave a legacy.
Fun fact: Stephanie cheered for the Atlanta Falcons for five seasons.
Katherine Wright
Realtor | Moreland Properties
Katherine approaches work and life through three principles: integrity, intensity, and community. She studied photography and lighting design at Bennington College, which gave her a strong eye for design. She began her career in community relations at MBNA, where she engaged more than 13,000 employees in volunteer efforts, a company record. She later practiced real estate with RE/MAX in Wilmington, Delaware. Now an Austin resident of 26 years, she focuses on luxury residential at Moreland, after previously working at Berkshire Hathaway, and is committed to being fully available to her clients through closing and beyond. Katherine serves on the Austin Theatre Alliance and the Board of Directors of the Texas Book Festival. She is a former board member of KIPP Austin Public Schools and spent 20 years as Executive Director of the Wright Family Foundation’s Austin office.
Fun fact: In the middle of her junior year of college, Katherine bought a one-way ticket to Nepal. She spent a year and a half backpacking through Asia, then built a Land Rover in Kenya and drove it from Nairobi to Cape Town and back, a trip that took another year and a half.
Thank You
To our Advisory Board: thank you for your time, your candor, and your belief in what PT50 stands for. Your guidance helps us keep creating meaningful connections in real estate for the Austin community.
