Twenty years ago, a vision took root in the Texas real estate community. What began as a small recognition program with big ambitions has grown into something far greater than any of its founders could have imagined. Today, on June 30, 2026, we celebrate 20 years of Platinum Top 50® and everything this community has built together.

Where It All Began

The story of PT50® starts in the San Antonio and Boerne area, where Brenda Covington and Christina O'Connor first brought the program to life in the early 2000's. In January 2008, Amber Thomas took the reins of ownership and spent the next fifteen years pouring herself into growing PT50® into the respected, beloved program it is known as today. In 2023, Chelsea Timmons acquired Platinum Top 50® and began a new chapter, one defined by expansion, reinvention, and a renewed commitment to the agents and partners who make this community so extraordinary.

Twenty Years, Thousands of Connections

The numbers tell part of the story. Over the past two decades, PT50® has hosted 916 events, recognized more than 7,000 agents, and served over 300 partners across Austin and San Antonio. But the real story lives in the handshakes, the friendships, the referral partnerships, and the careers that were shaped by a room full of people who showed up because they believed in something bigger than a transaction. PT50® has always been about people first, and that has never changed.

Where We Are Today

Platinum Top 50® is now headquartered in the innovation corridor of Hays County, positioned right in the heart of the Austin-San Antonio corridor. The team includes a President and CEO, a Director of Business Development, an Events and Marketing Manager, and an Executive Coordinator. Together, they specialize in creating unifying events that bring the real estate community together across both markets. In addition to the flagship PT50® program, the team also oversees the Luxury League brand and the Award Winning Agent Mastermind, building a full ecosystem of resources for today's top real estate professionals.

The Next 20 Years

With new ownership, a passionate team, and a community that continues to show up year after year, PT50® is more energized than ever. 2026 is shaping up to be our most exciting year yet, and we are just getting started. The real estate community in Austin and San Antonio deserves recognition, connection, and spaces where excellence is celebrated. That is exactly what we are here to provide, for the next 20 years and beyond.
