After nearly a decade of owning a successful retail store focusing on home furnishings and accessories, Amelita joined Kuper Sotheby’s International Realty in 2017. Her sales experience in luxury home goods easily translated to the high-end real estate market in the Tri-Cities areas of Alamo Heights, Olmos Park, and Terrell Hills where she is pleased to serve both buyers and sellers.

Amelita’s commitment to excellence, professionalism, knowledge of the industry, and shining personality have made her a formidable player in the close-knit real estate environment of San Antonio. She values her productive and successful relationships with many top agents across brokerages. Her extensive network ensures that her buyer clients are aware of opportunities before the general public and many of her listings are under contract pre-MLS.

Platinum Top 50 recognized Amelita’s achievements as the “Newcomer of the Year” in 2017, as a Platinum Top 50 winner in 2019, and as a Platinum Top 50 finalist in 2024. In addition to sales volume, PT50 takes into consideration an agent’s community involvement, of which there is no shortage in Amelita’s case. Amelita serves on the Executive Boards of The Mind Science Foundation and The Texas Biomedical Forum, the Guardian Board, and Capital Campaign of Girls Inc of San Antonio, and is actively involved with many other local organizations and clubs.

Amelita is a graduate of Southern Methodist University in Dallas and received a Master's degree in Art History from the University of Texas at San Antonio.

In her spare moments (!), Amelita enjoys time in the country and Port Aransas with her husband, their 13-year-old son, and yellow lab. Fiercely competitive, Amelita can also be found on the tennis and pickleball courts or playing cards with friends.
