Shannon Ayres is a real estate professional based in Austin, TX. She moved to Texas from the Bay Area, and has spent several years familiarizing herself with Austin and all the surrounding areas in her previous role managing sales and business development for The Real Real. Shannon’s knack for style, and attention to people’s needs has paid off in her ability to help people find their perfect home, particularly those who are coming to Austin from California, other parts of Texas, and the Midwest where she grew up.
Shannon is a dedicated real estate professional specializing in the luxury market. Recognized for exceptional performance, she was the runner-up for the ABOR Rookie of the Year award in 2020. With a strong foundation in market analysis, strategic marketing, and business analysis, she has a keen ability to understand market trends and deliver results that exceed client expectations.
Prior to her career in real estate, Shannon has had a long-standing career in corporate retail, managing divisions such as retail operations, merchandising, procurement, financial planning, and seasonal forecasting for large corporations such as Gap Inc. and Target Corp. In her role at The Real Real, she single-handedly built and grew the Austin market, strategically managing and scaling the market through IPO, until deciding to pursue her passion for real estate full time.
In her spare time, her husband, a California and Austin-based tech exec and enjoys spending time with their three daughters and two Goldendoodles. They enjoy sports, outdoor activities, and participating in National Charity League with her two oldest daughters. As residents of Rough Hollow, lake life very much suits them as California transplants.
