A native Austinite, her real estate roots run deep & hold Kristine to a high standard of excellence & success. Kristine has a niche for Rural Property & focuses primarily on Country & Ranch Living on the outskirts of Austin. Kristine received her real estate license in 2005 from St. Edwards University & has worked intermittently in the industry since graduating from Bowie HS in 2002. Along w her Associate’s Degree in Spanish, Kristine recently became a Broker in 2021 & is the Founder, Designated Broker & Owner of Schmidt Ranches & Realty in Gonzales Texas historic district. Kristine’s work ethic has been superior since HS where she played varsity basketball for Hall of Famer Lynn Davis Pool, was a PAL® (Peer Assistant Leadership Program) & graduated from the Presidential Classroom Scholars Program. While living in New York from 2011-2013, Kristine was dually licensed. She worked diligently to help her clients during a time of economic adversities & an unhealthy real estate market. She finds importance in community volunteering which is shown by her involvement w The Refuge for DMST where she has the privilege of serving on the Board of Directors for 5+ years. She has been involved in the fundraising & is also a donor. This nonprofit organization provides a pastoral setting for child survivors of sex trafficking & offers a circle of care to restore lives. They partner w UT Charter school & Dell Medical & have currently been open for 3 years. This is her greatest passion. She is a member of ABOR, SABOR, HAR, CTX, TXLS, Waco MLS & Lands of TX.
